He col.laborat amb artistes sonors, visuals, arquitectes, geògrafs i poetes.

BIO

Dancer/performing arts creative,  teacher,  eco-activist from Barcelona living in Berlin.

From the age of 5 I attended dance classes and created choreographies as a game with my schoolmates at the school playground. I took classical, jazz and contemporary dance lessons till I was 18. Then I started university, and got graduated in Psychology at the Autonomous University of Barcelona and at the same time I trained in contemporary dance and dance therapy. At the same university I get to know about Bodyweather research by Andrés Corchero. From this very first meeting my research and dance professional path has been strongly influenced by this approach and for more than 12 years I continued studying with Andrés Corchero, Hisako Horikawa, Carme Torrent and Frank Van de Ven among others, in different independent schools in Catalonia, Spain, Germany and the Czech Republic. I broadened my research with Butoh dance training with Masaki Iwana and Moeno Wakamatsu at the Maison du Butoh Blanc in France, Anita Saj in the Nordic School of Butoh in Denmark and Rhizome Lee at the Himalayan Butoh School in India. I trained as a Hatha Yoga teacher and complemented it with the yoga of sound and Kashmir tantric Shivaism.

Since 2004, I have worked in more than 30 productions as performing arts creative but also interpreting, but also collaborating in different art collectives being part of projects on the international performing arts scene. My perspective of dance is influenced by oriental approaches from India: Yoga, and from Japan as: Bodyweather, Butoh, Seitai (katsugen / yuki). As a researcher in body language and the different forms of dance I am seduced to investigate issues from Eastern cultural contexts to translate it, re-interpret it and move it to practices and discourses in contemporary Western contexts. In recent years, my artistic research and performative actions have been around the body and the landscape (urban / rural) topic and the action of walking as an artistic practice. In the field of art residence and cultural managing, I have worked for 4 years as coordinator at the CeRRCa research and creation center. A center, which facilitates the realization of AIR programs (Artist In Residence program), exhibitions, and different activities by resident artists.
